Technical and creative combined

I have a unique blend on technical savvy and marketing expertise from programming in the early days of the World Wide Web to building marketing foundations at startups in Silicon Valley. That blend of deep tech and creative communication has shaped every chapter of my career.

A strategic growth leader

I’ve spent 20+ years helping early-stage B2B technology startups move from bold ideas to scalable businesses. My journey includes leading marketing at Origin AI, Aizon, Saama, and other innovators, where I built brands, launched categories, and optimized revenue operations. At Origin AI, I established infrastructure and strategies that turned potential obstacles into growth opportunities. At Aizon, I propelled AI-driven analytics in life sciences into new markets. Earlier at Saama and Grid Dynamics, I transformed marketing programs to support scale and global expansion.

Compelling storytelling with an AI edge

Today, I bring together that experience with a sharp focus on AI and automation. I design and deploy custom GPT assistants, ROI calculators, RevOps dashboards, and avatar-driven campaigns that give startups an unfair advantage. My sweet spot is turning complex technology into compelling storytelling with an AI edge helping founders translate technical breakthroughs into growth, funding, and category leadership.

Outside of work

I hold B.A and M.A from Virginia Tech, plus a leadership certificate from UC Berkeley. Beyond my professional pursuits, I’m passionate about photography, Jeeping, and capturing the beauty of the outdoors. The images on this site are my own, reflecting how I see the world through both a creative and an analytical lens.

Leading With Purpose

Success in marketing, especially within the high-stakes world of technology startups, requires more than expertise. It demands leaders who ground their work in values while adapting to rapid change. Throughout my career, I’ve built brands and revenue engines not only by driving measurable results, but by staying rooted in innovation, integrity, collaboration, accountability, transparency, and adaptability. These values have guided me in leading with purpose: translating complex technology into growth, leveraging AI and automation responsibly, and shaping organizations that thrive long after the next funding round.

Innovation

In fast-moving startups, innovation is less about tools and more about solving problems in new ways. I bring creativity and resourcefulness to every engagement whether it’s building scalable marketing systems from scratch, designing ROI calculators that help sales win late-stage deals, or introducing AI-driven workflows that transform how teams operate. My approach turns constraints into catalysts, using limited resources as the spark for breakthrough growth.

Integrity

Integrity has been the compass guiding my career. I champion diversity, equity, and inclusion by amplifying underrepresented voices and ensuring marketing programs reflect the audiences they serve. Integrity is more than a principle, it’s how I build trust with teams, customers, and communities, shaping brands that stand for something larger than revenue alone.

Collaboration

Startups succeed when silos fall. I’ve led go-to-market teams that cut across sales, product, marketing, and customer success, ensuring every experiment feeds collective learning. Collaboration for me isn’t just about alignment. It’s about building a culture of shared ownership, where pivoting quickly is seen as progress, not failure.

Accountability

I build systems that make performance visible and measurable. From dashboards that unify RevOps to reports that clarify ROI, my leadership style ensures teams know what’s working, what’s not, and what we’ll do next. Accountability fosters confidence — both inside the organization and with the investors and customers who depend on us.

Transparency

Transparency builds speed. I create environments where knowledge is shared openly from centralized playbooks to AI-powered dashboards that give every function a single source of truth. When information flows freely, collaboration deepens, decision-making sharpens, and teams can move faster toward shared goals.

Adaptability

In dynamic markets, adaptability is survival. I pivot brand strategies as customer needs shift, transition seamlessly from product launches to PR management, and support early customer success without losing sight of long-term growth. By pairing flexibility with data and AI-driven insights, I help startups thrive in environments where change is the only constant.

For founders, growth can feel like chaos. Leading with purpose means bringing clarity to that chaos — aligning teams, staying true to core values, and using AI and automation to create leverage where resources are thin. It’s how I help startups turn vision into traction and traction into scale.
